Whales are amazing creatures. They live in the sea, yet they breathe air. For this linocut, I wanted to capture that connection between the two worlds and show the humpback whale both beneath the surface and in the air above.
The image is hand-carved and printed as a limited linocut print on 250gsm archival paper.
