Folky Foxes Organic Cotton T-Shirt
This original illustration, Folky Foxes, was inspired by two wonderful friends of mine who share a love of traditional folk music. Matt and Erica are a couple who play music together, with Matt on guitar and mandolin, and Erica on fiddle.
In this piece, the foxes represent the joy of making music with someone else . There’s nothing like the connection, conversation, and stories that are shared through traditional songs and melodies.
Matt and Erica have both been a big part of my own musical journey, with Matt teaching me guitar and mandolin, and Erica teaching my wife fiddle.
Much of my artwork is inspired by my love of folk music: listening to it, playing it, and the sense of community that surrounds it. I wanted to capture that feeling of warmth and togetherness through this illustration.
Created with a love for storytelling, nature, and traditional art styles, Folky Foxes celebrates the simple magic of music shared between friends.
